Invitation
to Make your Mark
Our school has been chosen by the Spring Garden Area Business Association (SGABA) to paint a 16 foot mural for a vacant site on Spring Garden Road (between the pet store and Bookmark) which has a pedestrian count of 40,000 people per day - imagine how many people will see our mural!

Artist Kyle Jackson,
whose design was chosen by the SGABA, has done a watercolour sketch and a mock-up
(see below). This is a launching point of what will be included. Because it is
a creative process, new elements can be added, colours changed, etc. The mural
boards will be painted on campus, and then transferred to the site. Painting
will happen between 8:45 am and 4 pm each day from April 18-21 in the Breakout Space on the 1st floor of Fountain
Academy. Kyle Jackson and our art
teacher/alumna Monica Rojo will be on hand to help guide you and encourage you
to make your mark. We would like everyone to participate - students, teachers, parents, alumnae/i, staff - everyone in our school community!
Join us - put paintbrush to panel and make your mark (however big or small)!
