The Grade 10 and 4 Grade 9 students had an opportunity to visit Dalhousie University and spend the day attending lectures on Medical Neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and Parkinson disease. This was a Neuroscience Symposium to offer an insight to students on the diffrent areas of research being done at Dalhousie University.
They were given a tour of the various laboratories at the Brain Repair Centre and an insight into the type of research being presently done at this centre.
The students were very excited and curious to learn about the type of research and also had an opportunity to discuss and express their views on research articles they read at this Neuroscience Symposium.
