The children from grade 5Ferguson and 5Dyer participated in Visual Arts NS Paints program to bring the professional artist, Lynette Richards to their art class. They created their own imaginative mosaic on board by collaging with glass and found objects.
The children learned how to manipulate glass by scoring and nipping. They were presented with visual examples of mosaics to inspire their own storytelling through imagery and will have a demonstration on how to create a small stained glass artwork when Lynette Richards returns.
