Grade 9 Core class welcomed Donna LeBlanc (mother of Callie MacDonald) and some of her students from the East Coast School of Languages as part of our career guest speaker series.
On Friday, February 19th, 4 students (Maria. Andrea, Andy and David) represented Sacred Heart at Brainwar, an annual competition put on by the Discovery Centre and sponsored by St. Mary's and Dalhousie Universities. The competition involved 24 tasks throughout the day testing the team's ability to apply their math, science, and reasoning skills to creatively solve a wide variety of problems. Competitors came from all over Nova Scotia, including university students and business professionals throughout the Province.
