It was an exciting time as speller after speller spelled their word and moved to the next round. Two hours later and many rounds successfully completed, finally resulted in the top three spellers. These champions of the marathon of word spelling are:
2nd runner-up Lily Luca,
1st runner-up Samantha Simms and
champion Malcolm Morency.
Malcolm Morency will represent Sacred Heart at the Provincial spelling bee to be held on February 20th.
