He did it again! Aidan Eisan collected 63 pledges of support for the Terry Fox foundation this past month. Bravo, Aidan!
Rather than pieing the Principal again this year, Aidan took aim at Grade 3 teacher, Mr. Kane. He hit the mark and it stuck!
Rebecca Smyth was called up, as the runner up with 53 pledges to pie Mr. Tugwell.
When asked for comment, Mr. Tugwell stated, "Thanks to Mrs. O'Halloran, the pie tasted a lot better this year!"
We're proud of our students' enthusiastic participation in the Marathon of Hope, and we are grateful for the generous support of our families.
At first count, our elementary school community raised $8,108.85 in support of cancer research this year. Thank you all!
- 576 pledges were received by our 191 students in P-6.
- 133 pledges were collected by the students of 5D.
- There was 100% participation in classes 1F and 5D.
- Aidan Eisan worked to garner 63 pledges.
- Rebecca Smyth earned 53 pledges.
