post-game Reception will be held in the Study Hall. All our welcome!
Please
RSVP and let us know if you're able to join us for any part of our Alumnae/i Day.
Be sure to let us know if you're interested in playing in either the Old Boys' or Old Girls' game - they'll be great fun to play and to watch.

Donahoe Cup Debating Tournament - April 16 & 17 - This weekend, Sacred Heart is gearing up to host The Donahoe Cup. 170 people (100 debaters plus coaches, judges and helpers) will participate. Students from five provinces (Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) will debate five rounds on Saturday, followed by quarters, semis, and final rounds on Sunday. Students debate in novice or advanced categories based on experience. What is the Donahoe Cup? Click here to find out.

We are still looking for a few more debate judges - no experience is required, and instruction is provided in advance.  If you're interested in being a judge for this tournament Click here or contact Mr. Brian Casey at bcasey@shsh.ca.
Invitation to Make your Mark
Our school has been chosen by the Spring Garden Area Business Association (SGABA) to paint a 16 foot mural for a vacant site on Spring Garden Road (between the pet store and Bookmark) which has a pedestrian count of 40,000 people per day - imagine how many people will see our mural!
Artist Kyle Jackson, whose design was chosen by the SGABA, has done a watercolour sketch and a mock-up (see below). This is a launching point of what will be included. Because it is a creative process, new elements can be added, colours changed, etc. The mural boards will be painted on campus, and then transferred to the site. Painting will happen between 8:45 am and 4 pm each day from April 18-21 in the Breakout Space on the 1st floor of Fountain Academy. Kyle Jackson and our art teacher/alumna Monica Rojo will be on hand to help guide you and encourage you to make your mark. We would like everyone to participate - students, teachers, parents, alumnae/i, staff - everyone in our school community!

Join us - put paintbrush to panel and make your mark (however big or small)!
