The Yale IV is the largest and most competitive tournament in North America. This October, two Sacred Heart alum competed at the prestigious event, Alex Sapp ('14) and Aislin Flynn (’12). At this year’s 300 speaker tournament, Alex Sapp placed in the top half of all novices (1st year university) and Aislin Flynn placed 11th individually. In team results, Alex Sapp made the Novice Final; Aislin Flynn made the Varsity Quarterfinals. Aislin is the current University of Toronto Debate Club President. She is the second Sacred Heart Halifax alum to hold that position; Deirdre Casey ('08) is a past-President.
