Civilization Competition Debate

The Civilization Competiton for the Grade 10 girls' high school classes was a great success yesterday. This unit of study shaped in English class is a cross curriculum research piece and is a fine example of Sacred Heart School education.  

Critical thinking, analysis, research, creative intelligence and public speaking skills were evident throughout the presentations.In the spirit of "Cor Unum" the Principals of SHSH Elementary, GHS and Fountain Academy were the judges of this project.  

Thank you to Mrs. Horne for all her work preparing the students for this project and to the students and judges!  We were also pleased to see so many parents attend as well.

And, after the debate was over they were treated to a special lunch!
