Tapis Rouge French Film Festival

Last week the girls' high school was treated to the annual Tapis Rouge French Film Festival during Activity Period. The Gr 9 French classes worked diligently on their French films with Mme Cubillos through the spring. The theme for this year's festival was "Il était une fois...". Gr 12 students Sandler Gordon, Meghan MacAskill Cynthia Ghosn and Sébastien Brown hosted the event and there were many door prizes won. The coveted "Choix du peuple" was awarded to the most popular film "Une autre histoire du Cendrillon" created by Julia Chiarot, Eileen Bekkers, Chloe MacDonald and Katherine Culligan.
