About 25 Sacred Heart alums who live in the Ottawa area gathered on May 23rd at the home of Beatrice Keleher Raffoul for a reception, liturgy, and supper. Though we have never had a school in Ottawa, the alum chapter has been going strong for many years; members attended Sacred Heart Schools in Montreal, Halifax, Vancouver, Winnepeg, Dublin, Cairo, Congo, Brussles, New York, etc. Two meetings are held annually, and this spring the Heads of School Anne Wachter, RSCJ (Halifax) and Shawn O'Donnell (Montreal) were able to attend and provide reports on their schools.
