FA Students Showcase ROV at Professional Conference
Fountain Academy's Underwater ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Team was invited to showcase their work at the 28th Annual IEEE Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering at Halifax's World Trade and Convention Center this week. This year's National conference was centered around the theme ‘Electrical and Computer Engineering - Celebrating 30 Years of Ocean Frontiers’ and brought together industry leaders in the field. The boys were invited due to their Second Place performance at this year's provincial competition and for their Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award. As the only youth representatives, the boys were able to showcase their work and network with industry professionals. They did their school proud!
