High School & Elementary School Student Leaders Meet

High school student leaders joined our elementary school assembly on Tuesday morning.  It was a chance to introduce all of the elementary students to this year's Head Girl, Shannon; Head Boy, David; Vice Head Girl, Sandler; and Vice Head Boy, Stuart.

With our high school student leaders watching on, Mrs. MacDougall announced the results of Monday's election in Grade 6:  Co-Presidents Kristen and Ty, Secretary Samantha, and Treasurer Omar.

Congratulations to all students who made speeches and ran in student elections.  It takes courage and confidence to do so.  And we are very pleased with the enthusiastic participation of all Grade Sixes in this year's election.  I predict that each and every one of these students will be active voters in our Canadian democracy someday.
