Mr. Brian Casey, our Sacred Heart debating coach, said he was delighted to report that Sacred Heart had a great Dalhousie tournament during the first weekend of February. Catherine Burke placed 1st overall in the senior category. This is Catherine’s first win as a senior high student. Andrew Mayo finished in 5th place overall, another excellent finish.
In the junior category, Ailie Sullivan placed 3rd in Nova Scotia, another outstanding placing, and her team (with Minahil Nadeem) finished 3rd in the team standings. Madeleine Peet was the next best Sacred Heart debater.
