Baby Aria & The Roots of Empathy

Baby Aria has been visiting the Junior Primaries once a month since the Fall along with her mother Sheva Solomon. The children have enjoyed watching Aria grow and develop, taking responsibility for her well-being while she visits and being very proud of each new accomplishment and milestone. Roots of Empathy is designed to introduce children to the language of feelings. Through caring for a baby, children learn to recognize the signs of different emotions, label them and figure out how to respond to them appropriately. Children also learn how to protect and care for themselves and for others with discussions around safety, nutrition, sleep and, most importantly, love.   www.rootsofempathy.org/
