Kelly Nichols, Class of 2009 Visits Sacred Heart from the Netherlands!

Kelly Nichols (SHSH Class of 2009) spoke to grade 9 and 10 classes about her post-secondary experiences after graduating from Sacred Heart.  Themes she spoke about included the importance of mentorship and building self confidence as a young woman in science.  Kelly completed her BSc in Animal Biology (’13) and her MSc in Animal Science (’15) at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario.  She is now a PhD candidate studying dairy cattle nutrition and metabolism at Wageningen University in Wageningen, The Netherlands.

Kelly is the daughter of Patricia Nichols, Executive Assistant to Headmistress Sr. Wachter, and Chef Dale Nichols, Executive Chef at Digby Pines.
