Sacred Heart won the junior high title at Dalhousie this weekend. Ailie Sullivan and Minahil Nadeem, defeated a second Sacred Heart team (Katherine Culligan and Madeleine Peet) and two Grammar teams to claim the junior high title.
Individually, Fountain debater Derek Ryan was 2nd overall and Isaac Burke was 3rd., Ailie Sullivan was 5th and David Sapp was 7th. Madeleine Peet, a grade 7 student, was 8th. These are outstanding finishes.
We also congratulate the other Sacred Heart and Fountain debaters, Olivia Ryan, Maisie Wong, Elizabeth Carter and Eliza Rankin.
Our senior high team placed 5th overall, with Catherine Burke 9th and Maria Samman 12th individually. Torsten Sinclair and Robert Sapp were 10th as a team.
