On
the first Friday of school, the grade 9 girls ventured off by bus to Cape Split
to experience a day of hiking and comradery.
With very cooperative weather and lots of enthusiasm, the 16 km hike
ended up being a great way for these girls to start off the school year. This hike also happens to be a starting point
for some of the girls who will be pursuing an award in the Duke of Edinburgh
program.
