Queen's University Debating Tournament

Our Debating Coach, Brian Casey, reported on the Queen's Unversity Debating Tournament, from last weekend.  "I am pleased to report that Sacred Heart had another successful tournament at Queen’s this weekend.  Rory Flynn and her partner from Ontario finished in 5th place as a team, finishing the preliminary rounds without a loss.  In the process, the team defeated 115 other teams.  Individually, Rory tied for 2nd (out of 240 debaters)-only her partner beat her.

In the under 15 category, the Sacred Heart team of Minahil Nadeem and Ailie Sullivan finished 8th as a team.  In individual standings:
Rory Flynn – 244 points
Robert Sapp – 234.5 points
Emma McLean – 232.5 points
David Sapp – 230.5 points
