Breaking News! Our Sacred Heart Elementary School Choir won the Spring Garden Area Business Association's Holiday School Choir event! The choir under the direction of Mrs. Adele Merritt sang at the Halifax Central Library on December 5th. The SGABA said "Your Elementary choir had a fantastic amount of holiday spirit!" Congratulations to the children, Mrs. Merritt and accompanist, Mrs. Barbara Pritchard! They win $500 for their music program! Very well done!
Sacred Heart Elementary School were invited by the Spring Garden Area Business Association to sing Christmas songs at the Halifax Central Library on Saturday, December 5th. Our thanks to the children and parents and especially Mrs. Adele Merritt, Music Director for arranging all the students to attend and to Mrs. Barbara Pritchard who accompanied them on the piano despite the cold weather!
