Congratulations to Jack Bennet, who has been named the 2014 NS Young Humanitarian of the Year Award by the Canadian Red Cross. Jack is the son of Neale and Sharon Bennet. Sharon is a teacher at the Sacred Heart School of Halifax.

News of Caroline Whalen, Class of 2005
Caroline Whalen, Class of 2005, has just graduated from Memorial University with a Master of Music in Voice Performance and Pedagogy. She was also given the distinction Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies, for academic excellence.
She is planning on taking the next year to audition for young artist programs throughout North America and begin teaching privately.

Grade 7 Students in Ottawa this Week
Our Grade 7 students are on a trip to Ottawa this week with Miss McMullen and Mrs. Hughes. Thank you to Mrs. Hughes for sending the photos each day! The girls are home now and had a fabulous time. The top two pictures were taken yesterday on their last day - Rideau Hall and then the airport!

Fountain Academy of the Sacred Heart Prize Day
It was Prize Day in Fountain Academy of the Sacred Heart today. Congratulations to all our young gentlemen on a great academic year.
